Kobolds, those poor bastards

Life is very cruel towards these silly little creature.

They are born from dragon scales, discarded randomly during their travel or grooming. Most time they are easily forgotten by their parents, and they are off to defend themselves from the dangers of wherever they are left, but at least they are intelligent enough to live off on their own in a semi-feral state right after the scale hatches. Those who walk first take responsibility and take care of the scales that still have to hatch, knowing that can be easily become food for beasts or supply for fanatical smiths.

The kobolds that hatch in the presence of their parent, although protected, they are no less unlucky, as most time, the dragon will just use them either as new servants or snacks in case of dissent.

Kobolds live under the shadow of their dragon parents, always wishing to reach such power. They don't even have access to the iconic breath, but just a de-powered sneeze. But nonetheless they are brave creatures, fond of their family or adventure mates and those who survive thier adventuring journey become confident and strong.

Stats (for DURF or Treasure and Bravery, a game I have on the works):

Skill - 2, Hit Die - 1, Morale - 9

Equipment

Can use small and medium common weapon.
Can use light and medium small sized armor; but are mostly using common clothes.
Usually, they hide their unhatched scales in their den. They can be sold for 650 gold pieces each.

Special Actions

Elemental Sneeze: Can be used twice a day. It deals 2 damage and has an additional effect based on the kobold's color.
Red: +1 damage and ignites a flame.
Blue: attacks twice instead; the first attack deals 2 damage, the second 1 damage.
Green: remove 1 Armor before dealing damage.
Black: emits a foul gas. The target needs to save on STR or gets busy for a round coughing their lungs out.
White: freezes one item or weapon the targets carries. The freeze effect can be dodge on a DEX save. If a weapon is hit by the Sneeze, it gets worn out. This Sneeze can be only used once a day instead.

Tail Whip: Kobolds have strong and agile tails. The target must save on DEX or trip. The target must spend a movement action to get back on foot and move away again. Tail Whip can be used once per battle.

Players as Kobolds

Kobold PCs do not roll for STR at character creation and set it to 1, but they have +1 to their DEX roll. They also have +1 to Strength rolls that involve using their tails.

Kobold PCs need to take a Stress to use their Elemental Sneezes, but at HD 5 and beyond their Sneeze become a medium-ranged Breath and deals HD/2 damage round up instead of the regular 2. At HD 8 and beyond Kobold PCs can use three times a day their evolved Breath (white kobolds can use it three times a day too) and it deals +1 damage.

Kobold PCs use DEX to roll for both their Elemental Sneeze and Tail Whip actions.
